We recently connected with Ryane Montañez, the senior director of marketing and creative at mDesign, who gave us some tips, tricks, and product suggestions for storing everything from your favorite Halloween wreath to your leftover Christmas gift wrapping.  “Properly storing ornaments and other holiday décor items helps to prevent damage like breaking, rusting, and fading in color,” Montañez says. “This is especially important if you have any ornaments that have been passed down within the family and want to protect them to keep the tradition going.” “Our lidded fabric box keeps ornaments neatly separated and easy to see with a clear view window, so ornaments can be safely put away and are ready to go for next year,” Montañez says. “Having the right storage container means less worry about your ornaments breaking or losing their color in between use.” Save your artificial tree year after year in a solid storage bag. “Your tree will be protected in the storage bag, ensuring that it doesn’t get damaged, warped, or dirty,” Montañez explains. “It also keeps out moisture and pests while away for eleven months of the year.” Best of all, using a dedicated storage bag functions as a space saver. Montañez explains that proper storage makes more space for storing items in your garage, basement, attic, under beds, or even in small spaces while protecting the delicate wreath materials from varied elements. If you’re thinking this only applies to fake wreaths, Montañez assures us that’s not true. “Real wreaths can be dried and saved as long as they are stored away from sources of water/humidity, as this can lead to mold and mildew,” he says. “If you want your gift wrap to be slightly more accessible, there are also boxes on offer that allows you to easily grab your gift wrap when it is time to wrap presents," he explains.
